1977. Camper sees the lights of day thanks to Lorenzo Fluxa, heir of the first Spanish shoe manufacturer. For Lorenzo, who was brought up within the culture of footwear and wished to perpetuate his grandfather's heritage, creating the brand was an obvious choice, Effectively, the family story began a hundred years earlier when Antonio Fluxa left for England and returned to Majorca with a sewing machine and a revolutionary artisanal shoemaking technique. Today, the brand is managed by the family's fourth generation, and continues to honour its time-honoured traditions. Camper designs and develops its collections, ceaselessly revisiting the codes of leather footwear. Colourful, modern and daring, the Camper shoe seduces with its avant-garde look, like with the iconic, electrifying Kobarah sandal. In tune with its time, the brand launched Camper Lab in 2017, a cool, original line made from recycled materials like rubber and polyester.
