Architectural and futuristic, the style has been captivating hearts since 2013. A growing success which began with a leading couple: Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer. It was during their studies, at the prestigious Mode d'art international school in Paris, that the pair imagined and launched the label, in homage to the brilliant scientist Nicolas Copernicus. The success is dazzling and the refined and avant-garde aesthetic is unanimously appreciated by fashion enthusiasts. From the launch, Sébastien took the reins of design while Arnaud managed all the marketing. Their contemporary fashion is quickly compared to the designs of Yamamoto, Martin and Helmut Lang . The Coperni house quickly won the ANDAM First Collections prize in 2014 and finished as a finalist for the 2015 LVMH prize alongside Craig Green, Vilgil Abloh, Simon Porte Jacquemus and Demna Gvasalia. The destiny of the two founders changed when the house of Courrèges, a true icon of the 1960s and 1970s, appointed them to the artistic direction. In 2019, their collaboration with Courrèges ended and marked its comeback. Faithful to its DNA perfectly reflecting French chic, the brand surprises and reinvents the basics. The Fall-Winter 2019 collection reveals skirts, dresses and suits with clean and daring cuts. It is also the birth of the now famous Swipe Bag with an ovoid shape directly inspired by the Apple unlock button. Attracted by technology and the modern world, the label is organizing its 2020 fashion show at Station F in Paris. Called World Wide Web, the collection is a tribute to woman 2.0 where the tops are notably printed with lines of code. Resolutely focused on tomorrow and keen to offer fashionable creations, during the global pandemic unveiled the Ready To Care collection which highlights a revolutionary fabric called C+ composed of anti-UV, hydrating, light and antibacterial jersey.
