Changing the world, one perfecto after another, this is the mission of Deadwood , a label based in Stockholm and founded in 2012. Behind this idea, two creative minds: Felix and Carl. Both salespeople in a store in the Swedish capital, they share their common interest in culture and ecology, and the desire to create a project together was not long in coming. A bar, a music group or a shop? It's the latter that finally comes to fruition when they find a space in the south of the city in which they offer a selection of their favorite vintage brands. After a few years, the tandem began producing their own plays by Deadwood . For Felix, who studied sustainable development, and Carl, whose sensitivity to a more responsible consumption alternative is beyond doubt, their label had to take ecological issues into consideration. The leather jackets, the label's flagship models, are therefore made from scraps of leather, skins discarded from tanneries and re-cut vintage clothing. Their lining is elle from recycled plastic bottles. The antithesis of fast fashion, Deadwood wants to reinvent the way we approach fashion by renewing its collections twice a year and imagining timeless silhouettes to porter year after year. This lifestyle brand that helps preserve the planet speaks to the souls of rebels. The proof is: Iggy Pop, precursor of the punk movement, approached the two acolytes to order a custom jacket from them. Advocating quality instead of quantity, Deadwood does not rest on its laurels. Indeed, the collections are embellished with shorts, skirts, pants and leather bags, resistant to the test of time. Positive vibes, grunge attitude and “green” consciousness perfectly sum up the inspiring world of Deadwood .
