A master hatmaker for over a century, the Doria 1905 label imagines and designs berets, bonnets, bells and even fedoras in the purest Italian tradition. Founders of the house, the D'Oria family settled in the town of Maglie, in the province of Avellino at the beginning of the 20th century where elle decided to create their own firm specializing in the creation of headwear. At the beginning of the 1960s, the family decided to invest in a new factory on 3 levels, with an exclusively female workforce and nearly 120 employees. At the height of its success, the company was taken over at the end of the 1990s by the Gallo family, who made a point of keeping the aesthetics and DNA of the beginnings.
