Emporio Armani Men
The empire founded by Giorgio Armani is as gigantic as its name is famous. Founded in 1975, the Armani label has several satellite brands designed to dress, make up and perfume trendy men, women, children and teenagers while treating them to chocolatey treats and offering numerous decorative options for the home. Initially intended for a career as a doctor, Giorgio Armani abandoned his studies in 1953 in order to carry out his military service. Enlisted as a nurse, he quickly realizes that his future lies elsewhere and, upon his return, sets about changing paths. Hired by the department store La Rinascente, he distinguished himself in window design and gradually climbed the ranks towards design. At the beginning of the 1960s, he joined the Nino Cerrutti house as a men's designer. More than ten years later, he signed his first designs under his name. But if the parent company was born in the mid-1970s, popularized by a slightly oversized suit jacket that reshuffled the cards for Italian elegance, it was not until the early 1980s that Giorgio Armani launched Emporio Armani . The idea? Addressing a younger audience and subtly less fortunate than those who snap up their luxury ready-to- porter collections. To achieve his goals, the Italian designer has a big idea: to democratize le denim . At the time, still perceived as an extremely casual garment, jeans had no place in major collections. Everything changes when the creator makes it the heart of his new offering. Recognizable by its logo representing an aigle , the diffusion line is still today one of the most famous divisions of the transalpine brand.
