Launched in 2013 by Jonathan Hirschfeld and Max Schiller, Eytys is the Swedish sneaker and streetwear brand to discover urgently. Pronounced “Eighties” in memory of the shared enfance of the two creators, and spelled with “Y” in reference to Generation Y, the brand draws its inspiration from the digital age and urban culture. And this is not the duo's first attempt. Indeed, during their studies at Stockholm's Östra Real in 2003, Max Schiller designed sweatshirts and sweatpants with the school logo that Jonathan Hirschfeld worked to market! The beginnings of a future successful collaboration... It all starts with the desire to create the perfect sneaker, the pair to porter with everything, for years. It was from this idea that Mother , the label's flagship model, was born. Unisex and minimaliste this low shoe is distinguished above all by its thick sole, made of rubber and cork with air holes to better distribute weight distribution and ensure unstoppable comfort. Taking up the wardrobe codes of the 1980s and 1990s, the Eytys collections are characterized by a cool and relaxed retro aesthetic, with neutral shades that are easy to adapt. Part of a movement of multidisciplinary creativity, Eytys creates quality functional pieces with rich, supple materials and voluminous proportions offering a confident approach to the wearer. Its androgynous look with Scandinavian accents has made the label famous, as have its numerous collaborations with artists like Michael Madsen or the group Sad Boys but also with the essential Swedish brand H&M.
