Faconnable Man
For more than 70 years, Façonnable has imagined collections in the image of the Côte d'Azur, sunny, colorful, timeless. In 1950, Jean Goldberg, passionate about clothing and the know-how introduced by his family of master tailors from Eastern Europe, discovered Nice, in the south of France. He then left his bags in the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes department and quickly inaugurated his first workshop on rue Paradis, in the very center of the city of Nice. In admiration of his father and the daily work at the store, Albert, Jean Goldberg's son, decides to join the company at the end of his higher studies. And in 1961, father and son created Façonnable, a men's and family ready-to- porter label. The shirt, which has become the brand's signature piece, continues its reputation from year to year. Since 1950, Façonnable has stood out in the art of tailoring, thanks in particular to the noble choice of raw materials, such as the selection of Italian cottons and resistant weaves, but also through the sparkling mother-of-pearl, renowned in the fashion world. for a silky result for any occasion, on any type of clothing.
