To get the most out of your candle, let us guide you through these few tips for use that will extend its lifespan.

Burn your candle for at least 4 hours the very first use, that is to say until the entire surface of it has become liquid. You will thus avoid the formation of a pit and will be guaranteed good combustion for future uses. However, we advise you to never let your candle burn for more than 4 hours continuously.

Before each use, ensure that the height of the wick does not exceed 5 mm. Remember to cut it regularly to avoid too big a flame and therefore the formation of smoke.

At the end of each use and before the wax cools, take care, without burning yourself, to reposition the wick vertically, in the middle of the pot. If a ball of coal were to form at the end of the wick, we recommend that you remove it, once the wax has cooled, with a tissue or cut it without leaving it in the wax.

While burning, be careful not to place the candle in a draft so as not to risk its wick moving and burning irregularly afterwards.

Once your candle is consumed, let it cool before thinking of a new use for its container. Remove solid wax residue. You can consider keeping the label, taking care not to moisten it too much. These glass jars can be used as candle holders, table glasses, small vases, decorative jars and for any use you can imagine!
