Marc- antoine Barrois Beauty

Born into a textile industry family in northern France, Marc-Antoine Barrois was interested very early on in French elegance. In 2006, the couturier designed his first collections which he showed in Lille before joining the couture house of Dominique Sirop in Paris. After this collaboration, he joined the prestigious maison Hermès beside Jean-Paul Gaultier. These prestigious and valuable experiences helped forge his unique style, a blend of innovation, luxury and joy. He then decided to start his own design house, and in 2013, he opened his very first Paris boutique, on rue de Budapest, where he displayed his men's ready to wear, accessory and jewellery collections. In 2016, the designer also created an entire collection of perfumes, partnering with the perfumer Quentin Bisch. The first fragrance, B683, a reference to his date of birth and also the Petit Prince, mixes notes of spice, leather and the woods for a nostalgic effect. Indeed, it was childhood memories that brought the couturier and the perfumer together: the leather of an elegant attaché-case or a desk blotter, the woodsy, vegetal scent recalling country houses and family walks in the forest. The artistic direction of the former combined with the olfactive talent of the latter gave birth to the magic of these unique, unisex and sensual fragrances.
