Miista Woman

Originally from Galicia, a region in the north of Spain, Laura Villasenin has a dream: to reinvent the codes of footwear. At 14, elle discovered England for the first time, and especially its capital, London. Falling head over heels in love with the magical atmosphere of the city, elle joined the London College of Fashion before launching her own responsible and offbeat women's shoe label, Miista , in 2010. Helped by her brother Pablo on the commercial side, elle defined her own visual identity: colorful, extravagant, original and trendy. For the designer and artistic director, reconnecting with her Spanish origins is essential. All Miista pieces are designed in London but their manufacturing is based in Spain. The shoes are designed by hand, using noble Italian leathers and textiles, as well as recycled materials such as natural raffia. The Anglo-Spanish brand stands out, thanks in particular to its play on volumes and shapes that flatter silhouettes. The Spanish singer Rosalia particularly fell for the Miista models, a sunny and daring brand. In 2021, Laura Villasenin is launching the first women's ready-to- porter collection, for the Fall-Winter season. Lace, oversize, satin and bright colors predominate each fashion collection of the label, and once again recall the designer's Spanish origins. Among the best-sellers that everyone is snapping up, the Flabia and Carlota models, ultra-desirable square-toe heeled boots, and the Synthia model, leather mules of unparalleled elegance.
