Clean lines fitted cuts: menswear brand Neil Barrett is distinctive for its blend of contemporary streetwear and meticulous tailoring. The son and grandson of master tailors, designer Neil Barrett launched his namesake brand in 1999 wanting to introduce a more modern interpretation of menswear staples by combining technical expertise and contemporary style. With their graphic details and clean cuts, the British brand's trousers, shirts and jackets make up a new modern and refined urban man's wardrobe. Having graduated, from Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art in London, Neil Barrett worked at Gucci as Director of Menswear Design alongside Tom Ford for five years. He later approached Prada to develop their Menswear line, a goal he achieved within just eight months. Since then, Neil Barrett continues to provide innovative and distinctive designs, with a focus on developing and aligning fabrics. Based in Italy, he juxtaposes urban and sporty inspirations to create sweatshirts and t-shirts with abstract graphic prints, wide-leg shorts with straight cuts, and minimalist straight trousers.
