Rejina Pyo woman
Nane, Olivia, Arc... Rejina Pyo is proof that it is possible to launch several it-bags at the same time. At the head of her eponymous label since 2013, the Korean designer has become, in just a few seasons, one of the most bankable headliners in British fashion. Born in Seoul, Rejina Pyo quickly got her foot in the door of fashion: her mother was a designer and early on, elle taught her the first basics of sewing. After attending a local design school, elle landed her first job, for a large fast-fashion brand. But, wanting to see further, elle flew to London in 2008 where elle took classes at the famous Central Saint Martins School. His graduation collection was a success, winning the Han Nefkens Award and helping him land a collaboration with H&M. And after a few years spent assisting Roksanda Ilincic, elle launched her personal label in 2013. However, success was not immediately achieved. Between beginner's logistical errors and parfois unsuccessful influences, the business did not take off. He will have to wait until the Spring-Summer 2017 season to begin to make himself known. Distributed by the biggest retailers, lou by fashion editors and worn by the influencers of the moment, the brand is propelled to the forefront. The bags Nane and Olivia are displayed on the arms of fashionable girls while ready-to- porter pieces are seen at the exit of all the fashion shows. Inspired by modern art, Rejina Pyo above all creates clothes that elle wants porter or that elle would like to see her friends wear. A good friend in short, who imagines each season skirts, tops and dresses that are both comfortable and elegant, easy to mix with a daily wardrobe, but original enough to stand out.
